The KNCV Academy offers one-on-one exploratory meetings with a KNCV career consultant. These meetings are free of charge for KNCV members.
KNCV career consultants are not only experienced in their own area of expertise but can also explore opportunities in other sectors and help you decide how you want to shape your career path going forward. All consultants bring with them extensive experience gathered working in leading organisations, some of them even as professional coach or recruiter. Our consultants can support you in finding a new job. However, to be clear, they are not recruiters who manage a portfolio of vacancies.
In preparation for your exploratory meeting, it is important that you express your questions and expectations as clearly and concretely as possible. Questions our consultants will be able to help you with include:
- My work doesn’t motivate me anymore. How do I get that feeling back?
- I would like to switch from teaching to science or business. Is this possible and where do I start?
- How do I structure my CV for high impact? What should I leave out or include?
- How do I improve my job application skills?
- How do I present myself when meeting with a networking contact?
