Candidates can only be nominated for this prize by their supervisor. The Master’s thesis must relate to research in the field of chemistry, life sciences, process technology or (bio-)molecular sciences carried out as part of a degree programme at a university in the Netherlands. Non-Dutch candidates are also eligible for the award. A jury appointed by the KNCV will review the candidates and the submitted Master’s theses.
Candidates for the Golden Master Award 2023 can be submitted at the end of 2022. Candidates do not have to be graduated, but their report has to be marked in 2022. If you want to nominate a student, please submit:
Per email:
- Digital version of the master thesis
- A short statement from the supervisor(s) explaining why the student should be considered for the award. Provide specific examples that support the award criteria (importance and quality of the research, self-reliance of the candidate while writing the report).
- Candidate’s resume and contact details.
Digital documents can be send to kncv@kncv.nl.
All reports will be treated confidentially. As soon as we have received and processed your nomination we will let you know.
