Since 2018, the KNCV has annually rewarded the best chemical graduation report in secondary vocational education with the Gouden Vlam. During an official presentation during the Evening of Chemistry, the winner will receive a 'Gouden Vlam' and a cash prize of € 1,000. If there are sufficient high-quality entries, two second prizes of €250 will be awarded. This prize is made possible by the VNCI. This year's Evening of Chemistry will take place on October 15 in De Vereeniging in Nijmegen.
The finalists for the Golden Flame 2025 have been announced!
After extensive deliberation, the jury has chosen three finalists from all entries. We will announce the winner at the Evening of Chemistry on 15 October in Nijmegen. The three finalists, in alphabetical order, are:
