Practical workshop for researchers who are tired of boring presentations
Most research presentations are boring, (too) long and predictable. Only few presentations really succeed in grabbing our attention. That’s a pity, because that way an opportunity is lost to get more impact with research. So it’s time for a refresher course with tips on how to make appealing presentations. Because, as instructor Hans van de Water says, "life is too short for bad presentations".
Workshop content
In this workshop you will learn to present your research in a clear and convincing way, tailored to the target audience. You will get tips, practical exercises and inspiring cases. And you will go ahead with your own research case. With a few simple steps, you can already make a big progress. And you will learn that presenting can be really fun! Finally, you will present your own research in one minute.
During the workshop you will get feedback on your presentation, so that you know how to improve it. Therefore it is necessary to send one of your old or new presentations beforehand to kncv@kncv.nl.
