How to write an Article for a Broad Audience?

In three hours your will write a first draft for publication on the internet. We will explore the differences in writing for a scientific publication and een article for a broad audience. You will determine the core message of your research and start to write. You learn how to bring structure into your story and learn tricks to make your texts attractive. You will return home with a first draft of you article.

Please bring your laptop, we are going to practise a lot!

At the end of the workshop, participants: 

• know the difference between a scientific publication and a popular approach of your research
• know the structure of a popular text
• can you pitch your core message in two, three sentences
• have you finished your first draft for publication on the internet.
