How to Pitch your Research in a Video?

In this workshop you will translate your research into an appealing story. You will write a storyboard for your video and think about attractive images that fit your research. You will learn the basics of camera editing. Together with other participants you will practice the technique of in-camera editing and record a video with your smartphone.

You will cooperate in teams of three participants, so please register together with colleagues.

For whom?
For postdocs, PhD's and senior researchers in a academic and company setting.

Learning objectives
At the end of the workshop, participants: 

• know the main goal of their video for a broad audience;
• know an attractive structure for their target group;
• can explain your research in a brief, visual and comprehensible way;
• have made a short video about their research with their own telephone.
